Associate Quality Management Representative
JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Representative is responsible for reviewing and validating paperwork submitted from field operations to ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and accurate mapping of natural gas assets. This role supports data integrity and assists in maintaining accurate records for operational safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Create work orders for all leaks and below ground construction work. Main and Service, Replace, Installs, Abandon and Leak Repairs, etc.
- Verify emergency order handling to ensure leak information was captured by first responder.
- Review field-completed documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Verify mapping data and ensure correct integration into GIS or other mapping systems.
- Ensure accurate cost allocations and correct misallocation cost.
- Perform data corrections/ work order tracking for missing mapping data.
- Perform historical document storage.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies by coordinating with field personnel and other departments.
- Maintain accurate records and update internal databases for compliance and asset management.
- Prepare compliance reports and mapping summaries for audits and internal reviews.
- Support quality control initiatives and assist in regulatory inspections as needed.
- Prepare metrics to show right first time (field completed work)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
Minimum experience required of the position
- Experience in natural gas operations or utility industry is a plus.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities preferred of the position
- Experience in natural gas operations or utility industry is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical documents.
- Familiarity with GIS systems and mapping tools preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry systems.
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of compliance standards and mapping processes.
Physical Requirements
- Able to operate a personal computer, either desktop or laptop.
- Able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Able to operate a copy machine, fax machine, calculator, telephone and other miscellaneous office equipment.
- Able to exert up to 10 Lbs. of force occasionally, and /or a minimal amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push or otherwise move objects.
Working Conditions
- Able to support the Emergency Operating Plan including a designated EOP role.
- Able to work non-standard work shifts to meet the needs of the business with and without notice
- Able to work indoors, in an environment, regardless of whether open office, cubicle or private office
- Able to travel including overnight(s) occasionally.
