JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Delta Utilities is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and discreet Executive Assistant to support our Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This is a unique, high-impact role that blends classic executive support with deeper involvement in strategic coordination, cross-functional initiatives, and internal communications.

The ideal candidate will be a trusted partner to the CFO—managing day-to-day priorities, coordinating information across teams, and helping ensure the finance organization runs efficiently and effectively. This role requires sound judgment, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage high priority matters with professionalism and confidentiality.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Executive Support

  • Manage complex calendars, including scheduling meetings, calls, and travel arrangements (domestic and international).
  • Organize and prioritize a high volume of incoming requests, communications, and deadlines.
  • Prepare high-quality correspondence, presentations, reports, and meeting materials.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the CFO with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups on key action items, decisions, and deliverables.
  • Handle expense reporting and manage sensitive financial documents with discretion.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to the CFO, helping to shape agendas and prioritize initiatives.
  • Lead or support special projects and strategic initiatives on behalf of the CFO.


Strategic & Organizational Support

  • Coordinate and track cross-functional initiatives involving the Finance and Executive teams.
  • Support CFO in meeting preparation, including research, talking points, and briefing documents.
  • Help drive alignment by summarizing and cascading key decisions, priorities, and updates.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure projects stay on track and the CFO’s time is optimized.
  • Assist in preparing materials for Board and investor-related meetings.
  • Anticipate needs and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and strategic impact.


Advanced Presentation & Communication Skills

  • Create and refine high-impact PowerPoint presentations for meetings with investors, vendors, and key stakeholders.
  • Translate complex financial and strategic information into clear, compelling visual narratives.
  • Maintain a consistent and professional visual identity across all executive-level materials.

 


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education required of the position

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

 

Minimum experience required of the position

  • 7+ years of experience supporting C-level executives, preferably in finance, investment, or professional services environments.

 

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities preferred of the position

  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of confidentiality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Zoom, Asana, or similar) is a plus.
  • Experience with Oracle is a plus.
  • Resourceful, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.

 

Any certificates, licenses, etc. preferred for the position

  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) is a plus.
